Sherri loved animals, going to movies, reading, and had a strong faith in God do to her grandparents. She was also passionate about all the children she taught over the years. Sherri loved spending time with family and friends, especially her mom and cousins. She recently became an assistant teacher at Childcare Adventures Early Learning Center in Toledo, Ohio. After moving back to Ohio she worked at Thrive Childcare in Oregon, Ohio as assistant preschool teacher, and lead teacher from 2010-2022 for two and three year olds.

Sherri worked as preschool teacher for Kinder Care Learning Center in Illinois as assistant lead teacher and director from 1991-2009. Sherri graduated from Lyons Township High School in La Grange, Illinois then attended the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, studying early childhood development. Sherri Lynn Christensen, age 52, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023.
